| 病院では脊椎側湾症が進むとコルセットをつけさせるが、何の為にそうするのか？少なくとも 側湾症を治そうとしているのではない事をここで証明する。多分進行を止めようとしているのでは ないかと推測できるが、それも疑わしい。 何故かと言うと、もしコルセットで進行が止まり、又は治るのであれば、発見した初期に装着 すべきであるにもかかわらず、逆に進行が進みすぎて、状態がかなり酷くならないと装着しないのは、 コルセットで治るとは思っていない証拠である。もし、それで本当に治るとおもっているなら、 発見の初期段階で装着すべきである。 どんなものでも、早期発見早期治療が最善の方法であり、先ず水際撃退を方針とすべきであり、 コリセットだけがそうではないと言う理由は全く見当たらない。だから、コルセットの装着は明らかに 欺瞞である。 しかも、装着して生活することは非常な苦痛であり、ある若い看護婦さんは１年間、泣く泣く装着して みたが全く改善が見られず、むしろ悪化して、私のところへ来られたが、その時の苦痛を様々に訴え ていた。その方は、半年ほどで、人が見ても判らないほどに改善し、経済的理由で治療を途中で終 えたが、その後、その状態を維持しつづけて数年になる。 コルセットは逆に装着していない部分に負担がかかり、むしろ悪化するのである。このようなものは 即刻止めるべきである。 |

At the hospital, it is usual that the patient is required to wear a corset as its spinal distortion symptom advances. Why is it? What is it for? I can now prove here that it is not intended to cure it at least. I can imagine it is for stopping the advancing, but I doubt it. If the wear of a corset could stop the disease from advancing or cure it, a corset should have been put on at the early stage of discovery of the disease. Actually, however, it is not until the symptom has advanced a lot that a corset is first installed. This is because they don't believe that such corset wearing will help curing. In any case, earlier discovery is the best way for effective treatment in what they call “the shoreline operations." There is no reason seen anywhere why the corset is exceptional. This is the reason I should insist, that corset wearing is nothing but a falsehood. For a patient that wears a corset finds it very hard to live its normal life. For example, a young nurse came finally to my clinic, complaining that she had worn a corset for a long duration of one year, but none of improvements was seen but it only served to help the symptom get worse. In about half a year since her first visit here, she enjoyed much improvement with no trace noticeable from outside. Because of the economical reasons, she stopped coming here for further treatment. The same conditions are heard of her to maintain for years. Wearing of a corset will cause a load to other parts of no corset, which may even deteriorate in the worst case. For these reasons, no patient should wear a corset. |
